Chaos

It's been an eventful weekend- has it really only been 3 days?!

On Saturday my Letter to Natalia was published on The Feminist Breeder- you can read it here if you're interested. I didn't actually expect my letter to my picked at all, so it's been a pretty jaw dropping experience!

Tali Charging out of the Curtains
This weekend I also had my first two shifts (Friday and Sunday) at the Group Home. It's certainly an eye opener and will be a learning experience. But I'm more confident now than I have ever been that this is the direction I want my career to go in! I'm working again today (2:30-11:15). We're still trying to figure out how to schedule everything... but for today I'm going to drop Tali off at Mary Poppins, then meet The Wonderful Husband for his lunch and have him drive me to work. Then when I'm off, He and Tali are going to come and pick me up. I really hate the idea of waking Tali up to come and get me.. but it's the only logical choice right now. It makes no sense for me to work half my shift to be able pay for a cab home. We'll have the second car on the road at the end of the Month if everything goes as planned... and that will fix all the issues!

Tali has discovered our living room curtains. They've become her best friend- she's constantly wrapped up in them and running through them any chance she gets. It's a sure fit to make her laugh.. which is amazing. She's been a grump all last night and today. I don't know if she's teething again, or if  it's just her adjusting to me being back to work. What ever it is, I hope that it doesn't last long! She's been doing AMAZING with her sleeping.. I've been to afraid to post anything about it for fear of jinxing it. Last night that trend did not continue.. she was up like 3 times. Not cool.  I'll save the details on that for another day!

I have a bunch of shifts this week.. so I probably won't be updating as much as I would like. (I'll try... but exhaustion may win!)
